Next Steps
Everyone has a next step in their journey of faith, and at Beech Grove United Methodist Church, you don’t have to take it alone. Whether you’re exploring faith for the first time, seeking to grow deeper in your relationship with God, or looking for ways to connect and serve, we’re here to walk with you. We believe faith grows through meaningful steps taken in community, guided by God’s grace. Our hope is to support and encourage you as you discover how God is leading you forward.
Follow Jesus
Saying “yes” to Jesus is a response to God’s grace already at work in our lives. It marks the beginning of a life shaped by faith, forgiveness, and a growing relationship with God. As we follow Christ, we are continually formed by the Holy Spirit and invited into deeper love for God and neighbor. This journey is not meant to be walked alone, but alongside a caring church community that supports, encourages, and grows together in faith.
Baptism
Baptism is a sacred sign of God’s grace already at work in our lives. It marks our inclusion in the family of faith and celebrates God’s promise of forgiveness, new life, and love. In the United Methodist Church, baptism is not just a symbol of personal faith, but a covenant between God, the individual, and the church community. Through baptism, we are reminded that we belong to God and are invited to grow in faith as we follow Jesus together.
Get Involved
Serving is one way we live out our faith and respond to God’s love in our lives. Each person is gifted by God, and when those gifts are shared, the church and the wider community are strengthened. Whether your role is visible or behind the scenes, every act of service matters. Through serving, we grow together in faith and participate in the work God is already doing among us.
TAKE A STEP
To take any of these next steps, we invite you to connect with our pastor. A simple conversation can help answer questions, offer guidance, and walk with you as you discern what step is right for you. We’d be glad to talk and support you in your journey of faith.
